Find the right support for your child’s mental health

Private online mental health support for children and young people

You don’t need to have all the answers. A free consultation gives you the space to talk through what you’re noticing, and clear guidance from experienced clinicians on the right support for your child.

Booking takes around 2 minutes • No referral needed • No obligation to continue

Private support, built on proven clinical foundations

Melios is a dedicated private assessment and support service, built on the same standards of clinical governance, safeguarding and secure online delivery as Healios, our parent organisation, which has supported NHS and funded pathways for over a decade.

How it works

1. Book a free consultation

A supportive conversation with a member of our team to answer your questions and explore how we may be able to help.

2. Talk through the right support

We’ll take time to understand your child’s experiences, strengths and needs, and help you see what type of support may be suitable, whether that’s therapy, post assessment support or another personalised route.

3. Match your child with the right clinician

If you decide to continue, we’ll recommend the most suitable support route and match your child with a clinician whose experience and approach fit their needs.

4. Begin personalised online support

Together, we’ll begin personalised support for your child, with regular reviews and practical recommendations along the way.

Parent review

“I enquired about support for my son and had a short call to talk through the process. At no point did I feel pressured. My worries were listened to, and I came away feeling less anxious about the whole experience.”

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my child needs support?

Many parents and carers contact us because they have noticed changes in their child’s mood, behaviour, confidence or wellbeing. You do not need certainty before reaching out.

What if I’m not sure what support my child needs?

That is completely normal. The free consultation is designed to help you talk through what has been happening and understand what support may be most appropriate.

Does my child need a diagnosis or referral?

No. Your child does not need a diagnosis or referral to access support through Melios.

Can this support ADHD or autism-related needs?

Yes. Supporting neurodivergent children and young people is part of our expertise. Support can help after a diagnosis, while waiting for an assessment, or when you are trying to better understand your child’s needs.

Are sessions delivered online?

Yes. Melios support is delivered online through a dedicated clinical platform, allowing children and young people to access support from a familiar environment.

Are online sessions suitable for children and young people?

Online support can work well for many children and young people, especially when they feel more comfortable at home.

Can parents or carers be involved?

Yes. Depending on your child’s age and needs, parents and carers can be involved in the support process. We’ll discuss what feels appropriate for your family.

What types of support are available?

Support may include CBT, goal-based intervention, post-assessment support, trauma-focused therapy or a personalised combination depending on your child’s needs.

When will I find out about costs?

We’ll discuss support options and costs during your free consultation, once we understand more about your child’s needs.

What happens after the consultation?

If you decide to continue, we’ll recommend the most appropriate support route and match your child with a clinician whose experience and approach suit their needs.
