Mental health support for adults

Life isn’t always straightforward. There are times when we simply need the right support, perspective or tools to help us move forward.

At Melios, we understand that everyone’s experiences are different. Whether you’re looking for support with your mental health, navigating a significant life event, making sense of a recent ADHD or autism assessment outcome, exploring your identity or simply looking for a clearer sense of direction, we’re here to meet you where you are.

You don’t need to have all the answers before reaching out. Our clinicians provide personalised, evidence-based support designed around your individual needs, taking the time to understand your experiences, strengths and goals.

When mental health support can help

Adults come to us for many different reasons. You may be experiencing:

  • Anxiety or worry
  • Stress or burnout
  • Low mood
  • Difficult life transitions
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • ADHD or autism-related support needs
  • Questions following a recent assessment
  • A feeling that something isn’t quite right
  • A desire to better understand yourself and your needs

You don’t need to have the answers before getting in touch. Whether you have a specific concern or simply want guidance, perspective or practical strategies, our role is to listen, understand and help you identify the most appropriate next step.

A personalised approach to mental health support

We believe effective support starts with understanding the whole person, not just the presenting concern.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, we take time to understand your experiences, strengths, goals and circumstances. This helps us build a picture of what may be going on and identify the support most likely to help.

Our approach means we look beyond any single concern to understand your unique experiences and what matters most to you right now.

Because no two people are the same, neither is the support we provide.

Our adult mental health support services

Every person is different, which means the support they need will be too.

Many people benefit from a small number of focused sessions that help them better understand themselves, develop practical strategies and improve their wellbeing. Others may benefit from longer-term support.

During the consultation process, we’ll take time to understand your experiences, strengths and goals before recommending the most appropriate approach, reviewing progress regularly along the way.

Psychological assessment: 1.5 hours per assessment

A non-diagnostic mental health assessment exploring emotional, behavioural and functional needs, with a written summary and personalised recommendations.

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT): 1 hour per session

Evidence-based therapy helping people develop practical coping skills and improve emotional wellbeing.

Integrated Psychological Support: 1 hour per session

Person-centred, goal-focused support designed to build strategies and resources and address common mental health challenges.

Post assessment support: 1 hour per session

Specialist support focused on psychoeducation, adjustment, self understanding and practical strategies, whether diagnosed or not.

Neuroaffirmative Behaviour Support: 1 hour per session

Strengths-based behaviour support service, helping families of neurodivergent children understand behaviour and build practical, everyday strategies through parent coaching, observation, and school consultation.

Extended therapy sessions: 1.5 hours per session

Additional time and flexibility for individuals with complex or co-occurring needs.

Your Melios journey starts with a free consultation

Taking the first step can feel like a big decision. That’s why we offer a free introductory consultation with a member of the Melios team.

This gives you the space to talk things through, ask questions and tell us a little about yourself and what you’re looking for. There is no obligation to proceed and you don’t need to prepare anything in advance.

If you’d like to move forward, we’ll arrange a more detailed clinical consultation to better understand your needs and develop a recommendation for support. During this session, we’ll explore your preferences and match you with the most appropriate clinician and services for you.

Our clinician matching service

The relationship between you and your clinician can have a significant impact on your experience of support.

Rather than asking you to choose from a list of profiles or assigning a clinician automatically, we take the time to understand your needs first.

Using the information gathered through our consultation process, we carefully match you with a clinician whose expertise, experience and approach are best suited to support you.

We want you to feel understood, supported and confident from the very beginning. If at any point you feel the match isn’t quite right, we’ll work with you to find an alternative.

Integrated Treatment Services FAQs

How do I know if this service is right for me?

You don’t need to have all the answers before getting in touch. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, life challenges, or simply feel that something isn’t quite right, our team will help you explore the support that’s most appropriate for your needs.

Who are Integrated Treatment Services for?

They may be suitable for children, adults or families whose needs are broader or more complex than one assessment outcome or one-off recommendation. Suitability depends on the person’s needs and the support route available.

What if I'm not sure what kind of support I need?

Many people come to us knowing they need support but feeling unsure about what type of support would be most helpful.

Our consultation process is designed to help us understand your experiences, challenges and goals so we can recommend the most appropriate support for your individual needs.

We do not expect you to have the answers and we’re here to support you.

Are sessions delivered online?

Yes. All of our support sessions are delivered online, through our dedicated clinical platform.

Online appointments provide flexibility and convenience, allowing you to access support from a location where you feel comfortable. All you need is a suitable device and a stable internet connection.

How are clinicians matched?

We believe that finding the right clinician is an important part of effective support.

Following your consultation, we will take the time to understand your needs and carefully match you with a clinician whose expertise, experience and approach are best suited to support you.

Can this support ADHD or autism-related needs?

Yes. Supporting neurodivergent people is a core part of our expertise.

Our clinicians have experience supporting autistic people and people with ADHD, and understand that everyone’s experiences are different. We take a personalised approach, considering your strengths, challenges and goals to ensure support is tailored to your individual needs.

Do I need a diagnosis to access support?

No. You do not need a diagnosis or referral to access support through Melios.

Many people come to us because they are looking for support with their mental health or wellbeing and want help understanding what support may be right for them.

When will I find out about costs?

We’ll discuss the support options available to you, including the service costs, during your free introductory consultation.

This allows us to understand your needs first and ensure any recommendations are tailored to your individual circumstances.

You will have time to review this information and come back to us with an answer or any questions when you are ready.
