ADHD, autism and mental health pathways for employers
Helping employers support employee wellbeing through personalised neurodevelopmental, mental health and workplace services.
Supporting employee wellbeing isn’t about offering a single service – it’s about recognising that every employee’s needs are different and helping them access the right support at the right time.
At Melios, we partner with employers to deliver flexible, clinician-led pathways that combine specialist ADHD and autism assessments, evidence-based mental health therapies and workplace support. Through our personalised, needs-led approach, we help organisations create healthier, more inclusive workplaces while giving employees faster access to high-quality clinical care.
Built on the expertise of Healios, Melios combines over a decade of clinical experience with secure online delivery, robust governance and compassionate care, giving employers confidence that every individual receives the support that’s right for them.
A needs-led approach to employee wellbeing
No two employees have the same needs.
Some people may benefit from an ADHD or autism assessment, while others need evidence-based mental health support, workplace recommendations or practical guidance following a diagnosis. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, we focus on understanding each individual’s circumstances and helping them access the most appropriate pathway.
A workplace-supported assessment pathway may be helpful when employees are waiting for an NHS assessment, have found it difficult to access support through other routes, are experiencing burnout, overwhelm or difficulties at work, may need evidence to support workplace adjustments, or want to understand whether ADHD or autism may be part of their experience.
This personalised approach helps employees gain greater understanding, confidence and practical strategies, while enabling employers to invest in meaningful support that improves wellbeing, inclusion and workplace outcomes.

What employees can expect
Accessing support through an employer doesn’t change the quality or nature of the clinical experience.
Every service is delivered by experienced clinicians through our personalised, needs-led approach, ensuring individuals receive the most appropriate assessment, therapy or support for their circumstances.
Employees can expect specialist clinical care, clear communication and practical recommendations, delivered with the same respect for privacy, consent and individual choice as they would receive through a private pathway.
Clinical information remains personal. Any information shared with an employer is governed by clear consent-led boundaries, agreed in advance.
Practical reports that support workplace conversations
Where appropriate, employees receive clear clinician-written reports that explain assessment outcomes, therapeutic progress or practical recommendations.
Many people choose to use these reports to support conversations about workplace adjustments, wellbeing or ongoing support.
Employees decide what they share. Employer-funded care does not mean an employer automatically receives personal clinical information.

Employer-funded assessments FAQs
What services can employers provide through Melios?
Employers can offer a range of services, including ADHD and autism assessments, evidence-based mental health therapies, workplace support, post-assessment support, Core Needs Assessments and ADHD medication pathways where clinically appropriate.
Can employers fund services for employees?
Yes. Employers can fund assessments, therapy and other agreed services, helping employees access timely support without long waiting times.
Do employees need to pay upfront?
If services are funded by the organisation, employees may not need to pay upfront, although this depends on the agreement in place.
Will we receive an employee's report?
Not automatically. Employees remain in control of their clinical information, and privacy is our focus throughout the process. They may choose to share their report, or parts of it, to support workplace conversations or reasonable adjustments.
Can Melios support workplace adjustments?
Yes. Our clinicians provide practical recommendations that can help inform workplace adjustments while respecting individual privacy and organisational processes.
Can Melios support employees after assessment?
Assessment is often just one stage of an individual’s journey. Where clinically appropriate, Melios can provide post-assessment support, ADHD medication pathways, mental health therapies and wider workplace support to help employees continue making progress.
Can employees access ADHD medication support?
For adults diagnosed with ADHD through Healios or Melios, medication support may be available where clinically appropriate. It is not offered as a standalone medication service for people diagnosed elsewhere.
