ADHD, autism and mental health pathways for insurers and partners
Helping insurers and partners support their members through personalised neurodevelopmental, mental health and reporting services.
Every person’s needs are different. At Melios, we deliver flexible, clinician-led pathways combining specialist ADHD and autism assessments, evidence-based mental health therapies and clear clinical reporting, so your members get the right support at the right time.
Built on over a decade of clinical experience within the wider Healios group, Melios offers secure online delivery, robust governance and compassionate care, giving you confidence that every individual receives the support that’s right for them.
A needs-led approach to member wellbeing
No two people referred to us have the same needs.
Some people may benefit from an ADHD or autism assessment, while others need evidence-based mental health support or practical guidance following a diagnosis. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, we focus on understanding each individual’s circumstances and helping them access the most appropriate pathway.
An insurer or partner-supported assessment or support pathway may be helpful when members are waiting for an NHS assessment, have found it difficult to access support through other routes, are experiencing difficulties in daily life, may need evidence to support workplace or education adjustments, or want to understand whether ADHD, autism or a mental health need may be part of their experience.
This personalised approach helps members gain greater understanding, confidence and practical strategies, while enabling insurers and partners to invest in meaningful support that improves outcomes and satisfaction for the people they serve.

What members can expect
Accessing support through an insurer or partner doesn’t change the quality or nature of the clinical experience.
Every service is delivered by experienced clinicians through our personalised, needs-led approach, ensuring individuals receive the most appropriate assessment, therapy or support for their circumstances.
Members can expect specialist clinical care, clear communication and practical recommendations, delivered with the same respect for privacy, consent and individual choice as they would receive through a private pathway.
Clinical information remains personal. Any information shared with an insurer or partner is governed by clear consent-led boundaries, agreed in advance.
Practical reports that support next steps
Where appropriate, members receive clear clinician-written reports that explain assessment outcomes, therapeutic progress or practical recommendations.
Many people choose to use these reports to support conversations about workplace adjustments, education, wellbeing or ongoing support.
Members decide what they share. Partner-funded care does not mean an insurer or partner automatically receives personal clinical information.
Why partners work with Melios

Supporting individuals with privacy and confidence
Clinical privacy matters. Everyone accessing Melios receives the same high-quality clinical care, regardless of whether their support is funded privately, through an employer or via an insurer.
Clinical information remains confidential. Individuals stay in control of their personal information, and any information shared with an organisation is managed through clear consent processes and appropriate clinical governance.

Insurers and partners FAQs
Can Melios support insurer-funded assessment routes?
Yes. Melios can support partner-funded ADHD and autism assessment pathways, subject to the access model, eligibility criteria, and the governance and reporting requirements agreed.
Can Melios support insurer-funded mental health support routes?
Yes. Melios can support partner-funded mental health pathways, including therapy and post-assessment support, on the same basis as assessment routes.
Can Melios support both adult and child assessments?
Yes. Melios provides private ADHD and autism assessments for adults, children and young people. However, the exact route depends on the user group and pathway agreed.
Can users access Melios through a dedicated partner route?
Yes. Partner pathways can use a dedicated access route, booking journey or landing page where needed. Because this helps avoid confusion between private self-pay users and partner-funded users.
What information is shared with the partner?
Individuals remain in control of their clinical information. This means any sharing should be consent-led and managed within clear privacy and governance boundaries. Furthermore, reporting arrangements should be agreed before the pathway launches.
Can Melios provide reports that support workplace or education adjustments?
Reports are written in clear, professional language and can support conversations with employers, schools, universities, GPs or other professionals, where the individual chooses to share them.
Can Melios provide support after assessment?
Where available and clinically appropriate, Melios can support next steps after assessment. Furthermore, including help understanding outcomes, practical recommendations and wider support routes.
Can ADHD medication support be included?
For adults diagnosed with ADHD through Healios or Melios, medication support may be available where clinically appropriate. However, this should be positioned carefully and is not a standalone medication service for people diagnosed elsewhere.
