Private ADHD and autism assessments, with support for what comes next

When you are looking for an ADHD or autism assessment, you are usually looking for more than a diagnosis. You may want clarity, reassurance, practical recommendations, or help understanding what support could make everyday life easier.

Find the right route

I’m looking for support for my child

For parents and carers looking for clarity around attention, communication, sensory needs, emotional regulation, school experience, masking or everyday behaviour.

I’m looking for an assessment for myself

For adults exploring long-standing patterns around focus, organisation, social communication, sensory needs, masking, burnout, emotional regulation or feeling different without clear answers.

I’m accessing Melios through work or insurance

If you are accessing Melios through work or insurance

If your assessment or support is funded by your employer, insurer or another partner organisation, please use the dedicated Melios link they provided rather than the standard private booking route.

If you are unsure which route applies, contact us and include the name of your employer, insurer or partner organisation so we can help direct you.

A private route connected to Healios experience

Melios is the dedicated private service within the wider Healios family.

Healios supports NHS and funded pathways. Melios provides a private route for people who want or need to access assessment and support directly.

This connection matters because private assessment should still feel clinically robust, carefully governed and human. Melios follows the same focus on clinical governance, safeguarding and secure online delivery that underpins the wider Healios approach.

ADHD, autism or both?

You do not need to know the answer before speaking to us.

ADHD and autism can overlap. Some people recognise traits of both, while others are unsure which route best explains what they are noticing. Melios can help you understand whether an ADHD assessment, autism assessment, combined assessment route, Core Needs Assessment or another support option may be most appropriate.

Designed to understand the whole person

Good assessment should not be about reducing someone to a label. It should help people feel understood.

Melios clinicians consider strengths, differences, support needs and real-life context. This matters because ADHD and autism do not always look like old stereotypes.

Children may mask at school and struggle at home. Adults may have spent years adapting, overcompensating or blaming themselves. Some people appear to cope while using huge amounts of energy just to get through the day.

Our aim is to provide clear clinical insight and practical recommendations people can actually use.

How the assessment process works

1. Free consultation

Start with a free conversation about you, your child or your family, and what you are hoping to understand.

2. Specialist assessment

If assessment is the right route, ADHD, autism or combined needs can be explored by experienced clinicians.

3. Clear report and recommendations

You receive a written clinical report explaining the outcome, strengths, areas of difficulty and practical next steps.

4. Outcome review

We talk through the findings with you, answer questions and help you understand what support may be useful next

Support after assessment

An assessment can bring clarity, but it can also raise new questions about what to do next at home, school, work or in everyday life.

Melios can support people after an ADHD or autism assessment with practical next steps, including help understanding the report, thinking through adjustments, building confidence and exploring further support where appropriate.

The aim is to help people move from assessment outcome to meaningful next steps, without feeling left to work everything out alone.

ADHD medication support is not offered as a standalone service for people diagnosed elsewhere.

    For employers, insurers and partners

Melios works with organisations that want to offer trusted ADHD, autism and neurodevelopmental assessment pathways.

For employers, this may mean supporting employees through workplace-funded assessments. For insurers and partners, it may mean creating clear access routes for members, customers or service users.

Organisation-supported pathways need to be clinically robust, practical to implement and respectful of privacy. Individuals remain in control of their personal clinical information, with consent-led boundaries around what is shared.

You do not need to have everything worked out before speaking to us.
